Village Administrator Podgorski presented Amendment III to the Village’s service agreement with Cornerstone Government Affairs, Inc., proposing to extend the contract from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026. Under the amendment the village would pay Cornerstone in 12 monthly installments of $6,000, for a contract year total of $72,000; all other terms of the agreement would remain in effect.
Podgorski reminded trustees of Cornerstone’s prior work for the Village and listed past matters the firm supported, including airport extension work, the Joe Orr Road project and prior TIF extensions. The proposed amendment was placed on the Feb. 3, 2026 Village Board agenda for formal consideration.
