The Private Probation Counsel received a preliminary finance report through May showing a deficit of $10,445 and reserves of $589,002.45.
"The numbers that you're looking at for, through May include a deficit of $10,445, bringing the reserves still at a healthy balance of $589,002.45," Executive Director Roxanna Gamusio said. She described the figures as preliminary, noting entries that may roll into the next fiscal year and that final FY25-26 figures will be presented at the November meeting. Gamusio also said one of the companies the council oversees will be closing soon and that clients will be transferred to officers in that jurisdiction, which could alter future revenues and caseloads.
