The Lindop School Board approved two personnel stipends at its Dec. 16 meeting. The board approved a $5,500 stipend for the Assistant Director of Buildings & Grounds, to be paid in three installments of $1,833.33 beginning in January 2026, for extra duties performed between July 1 and Dec. 31, 2025.
"Motion by Ms. Griffin, Seconded by Ms. Johnson to approve for the Assistant Director of Buildings & Grounds to be paid a $5500.00 stipend," the minutes note. The motion passed with all present members voting yes. The board also approved paying Chief School Business Official Cortnee Gutierrez a total stipend of $16,500 covering Jan. 3–June 30, 2026 for duties performed in place of a Director of Buildings and Grounds and Human Resources. The minutes record Ms. Griffin as abstaining on that motion; otherwise the motion passed with the same yes votes listed above. The transcript text for the CSBO's per-pay-period amount is garbled and not specified in the minutes; the recorded total is $16,500.
Board members did not record additional conditions or amendments to the stipend approvals; both items were adopted as motions in open session. Staff will implement payroll adjustments in accordance with the approved amounts.
