Public Works Director Terry Ciciora asked the board to approve the purchase of a 2026 GMC Savana 3500 at a cost of $70,432 to replace the City Electrician truck (a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado). Ciciora said Schepel had the truck in stock and the older vehicle would be sent to auction. City Attorney Alex Kutanovski raised no legal concerns and the board approved the purchase by unanimous voice vote.
Engineering Superintendent Doug Brite requested acceptance of a performance bond for Summertree Phase 3B in the amount of $294,896.25. Member Bob Clemons moved to accept the bond; the motion carried unanimously. These actions were routine procurement and development-bond items recorded on the meeting agenda.
