The Wessington Springs City Council approved a special events malt beverage license for the Wessington Springs Volunteer Fire Department for the Rodeo and Fun Fest during a June 29 special session at the Office of Finance Officer. "Mayor Ryan Knipfer announced this was the time and place for the public hearing for the special events malt beverage license for the WS Volunteer Fire Department for the Rodeo and Fun Fest," and no members of the public attended to speak on the matter.
Councilman Scott Vaske moved to approve the license and Shawn Tobin seconded; the council recorded the vote as Ayes: 4, Nays: 0 and the motion carried.
