Board ratifies NSEA memorandum for homebound tutoring at $70 per hour

Rachel Filippi, executive director for personnel services, presented a Memorandum of Understanding with the North Shore Education Association on homebound tutoring. The MOU establishes hourly rates of $70 for licensed teachers who provide homebound tutoring to students unable to attend school for qualifying medical or other reasons.
The Board approved the MOU by unanimous roll-call vote. Filippi noted the agreement remains in force for the duration of the district's current collective bargaining agreement, through the 2029–30 school year.
