Commissioners appoint Fair Board liaison, review administrator-search recruiting proposals

Commissioner Joshua Chamberlain was named Fair Board liaison (Tim Kenney alternate). Human Resources Manager Sherry Merrick presented three executive recruiting firm proposals for the county administrator search and asked commissioners to review proposals ahead of the next meeting.
Commissioner Chris Christensen moved and Commissioner Robert Jess seconded appointing Commissioner Joshua Chamberlain as Fair Board Liaison and Commissioner Tim Kenney as the alternate; the motion carried on a 5-0 voice vote.
Sherry Merrick, Human Resources Manager, presented three proposals from executive recruiting firms to assist with the County Administrator search and asked the board to review the proposals and be prepared to discuss and select a preferred firm at the next meeting. No firm was selected during the July 8 meeting.
