Charlevoix board authorizes application for FY2027 Michigan Drug Court Grant

The Charlevoix County Board on July 8 approved Resolution #26-060 authorizing the Drug & Alcohol Program Coordinator to apply for the FY2027 Michigan Drug Court Grant Program. The board noted that the Michigan Drug Court Grant Program, the Office of Highway Safety Planning Grant and the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant have been combined into one application.
The authorized funds would cover the period Oct. 1, 2026 through Sept. 30, 2027. The board passed the resolution by roll-call vote 5-0, and authorized the chairman to sign documents necessary for the application.
