Board approves several personnel actions including hire, resignation, leave and custodial overtime change

The board approved hiring Dawn Boyea as a part-time food service helper, accepted the resignation of Travis Tabor (modified baseball coach), accepted Theresa Trombley's letter of intent to retire (effective 11/29/25), approved a leave of absence for Jill Shpur, and accepted a letter from Head Custodian Jerry Meachem discontinuing custodial overtime effective 6/27/25.
During the April 15 meeting the Moriah Central School Board approved multiple personnel items. The board hired Dawn Boyea as a part-time food-service helper effective 3/11/25; accepted the resignation of Travis Tabor from his modified baseball coach position; and approved a letter of intent to retire from Theresa Trombley (Job Placement Assistant), effective Nov. 29, 2025.
The board also approved a leave of absence for Jill Shpur, Teacher Aide, beginning March 10, 2025 and extending until July 1, 2025. Separately, the board accepted Head Custodian Jerry Meachem’s notice to discontinue the custodial overtime position effective June 27, 2025. All motions were recorded as approved in the minutes.
