Morehouse to reroute snowmobile trail again; $10,000 budgeted for equipment

Supervisor Fernandez gave an update on snowmobile trails, saying the recent reroute has been successful but that another reroute will be required at the end of French Road after a landowner, Barbara Edwards, withdrew permission to run the trail across her property. He said the season will soon end with warmer weather and that the club experienced many mechanical breakdowns this season.
Fernandez told the board there is "$10,000.00 in the snowmobile equipment expenses line of the budget" that could be used to purchase a new side-by-side or newer sleds; the board said it will decide closer to the next season on equipment purchases.
