At the March 11 meeting Supervisor Anthony Fernandez announced he had appointed Ed Post as the town's Zoning & Codes Enforcer and described plans to bring Morehouse's zoning and codes into alignment with current guidance. Fernandez said he has started reviewing the town's codes, noting they are "pretty outdated" and that the last full update was in 1991; he said he will "start getting our zoning and codes laws up to date working with APA’s laws." Ed Post will work closely with Board Member William Uebele on the effort.
The board also reappointed Shirley Taylor to the Zoning Board of Appeals. Fernandez framed the code review as an internal research and drafting process that will be reported back to the board; no formal code amendments were introduced at the March meeting.
