The Morehouse Town Board voted on a package of routine business and appointments at its March 11, 2025 meeting, approving five named resolutions, authorizing voucher payments and making personnel appointments. The board accepted the February 11 minutes and approved General vouchers totaling $27,649.92 and Highway vouchers totaling $10,187.06. Sonya DeVuyst made most of the motions; William Uebele seconded, and the motions carried with the members present.
Among the formal actions were Resolution 25-3-1 asking the County Highway Superintendent to post 2025 weight restrictions on town roads; Resolution 25-3-2 renewing the MVP Group Health Insurance Plan for 2025; Resolution 25-3-3 renewing the Kuyahoora Valley Ambulance Corps contract; Resolution 25-3-4 extending the Hoffmeister Post Office lease at $5,500 a year for five years; and Resolution 25-3-5 establishing the Town of Morehouse Investment Policy. The board also appointed Glenn Murray and Seaborn Kelly (JR) as part-time groomers and reappointed Shirley Taylor to the Zoning Board of Appeals. The meeting minutes record that all motions "carried" and list no nays among members present.
