Morehouse clerk authorized to open bank account to sell DEC hunting and fishing licenses

Town Clerk Stephanie Tichenor told board members she has been working for a year to set up the town to sell New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) hunting and fishing licenses and asked permission to open a separate bank account to handle those transactions. "After a year of working on it, I (Stephanie Tichenor) have everything in the works to start selling Hunting and Fishing Licenses," she said.
Mary Ann Mosher moved to allow the town clerk to open a separate bank account for license sales; Brian Taylor seconded and the motion carried. The clerk said the new account will separate license revenue from other town funds and streamline sales; no fees or bank name for the account were specified beyond action to permit the account opening.
