Teachers, union leaders and parents urge fair pay as River Forest contract talks continue

Roosevelt teacher Tristan Rogers announced a work‑action starting the following day, saying, "starting the following day, District 90 teachers will only be working to the contract and not performing any other duties, unless compensated." Multiple speakers stressed that teachers provide the core of the district's success and urged the Board to find funding to increase compensation.
