Carlin council expands paving scope; bid packet expected in weeks

Richard Braithwaite, city manager for the City of Carlin, updated the commission on the city's paving project. "Our paving project that we solicited the RTC funds earlier for was ready to go out to bid, and our city council decided to expand the scope of that project," Braithwaite said, adding the project is back through engineering and that he expects a bid packet "within a few weeks."
Braithwaite told commissioners the city hopes to get the package advertised and awarded and to finish construction before snowfall. The update was informational; no action was requested or taken by the commission on the Carlin item.
