The Board approved inclusion of a competitive Critical Infrastructure application from the City of New Carlisle seeking $465,000 for Rossen Road improvements. Ethan Harris described the Critical Infrastructure Program as competitive and identified the New Carlisle application as the submission for PY2026.
The Critical Infrastructure Program budget request lists $465,000 in CDBG funds for Rossen Road and $35,000 for county administration as part of the $500,000 Critical Infrastructure application package (including other funds listed at $80,433). The Board approved the PY2026 strategy containing that application during the June 3 public hearing.
