Springfield Township, Bethel Township win PY2026 CDBG allocations from Clark County

The Clark County Board of Commissioners approved PY2026 Allocation Program funding on June 3 that includes $110,000 for street and drainage improvements in Springfield Township and $120,400 for drainage improvements in Bethel Township for Cooper Ditch. County staff said those projects meet the low- and moderate-income benefit objectives required by CDBG rules.
Ethan Harris, Community and Economic Development Director, told the board the typical 10% township match was waived this year because additional funding was available. The approved Allocation Program also includes $43,200 for county administration and $14,400 for fair housing work, for a total CDBG allocation of $288,000 under the Allocation Program.
