Clark County backs New Carlisle application for $465,000 Rossen Road repairs

County staff told the Board during Public Hearing #2 that the Critical Infrastructure Program received a competitive application from the City of New Carlisle for Rossen Road in the amount of $465,000.
"The application received was from New Carlisle for Rossen Road in the amount of $465,000," Ethan Harris said during his staff report. The CDIS approval carried the county's endorsement of that application; the roll call vote was unanimous.
The Critical Infrastructure Program entry in the staff packet also lists $35,000 for county administration, bringing the program subtotal to $500,000 when combined with the Rossen Road request and noted other funds. County staff indicated standard HUD/state application rules apply to competitive infrastructure requests and that awards are not guaranteed.
