The Board of Education of Will County School District 92 held a public hearing on the proposed fiscal year 2026 budget on Sept. 16, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Ludwig School Band Room in Lockport. Assistant Superintendent for Business Services Dave Blatchley said the budget had been on display in the district office and on the district website for the past 30 days.
There were no public comments regarding the FY26 budget during the public-comment portion of the hearing. After the brief presentation and procedural business, Member Dopke moved to adjourn, Member Washington seconded, and the motion passed unanimously (Ayes: 7, Nays: 0, Absent: 0). The hearing was adjourned at 7:03 p.m. The minutes record that Superintendent Kirsten Frankovich and other district leaders were present; no budget adoption or further board action is recorded in these minutes.
