The Board of Education of Will County SD 92 adopted the FY26 budget at its Sept. 16, 2025 regular meeting, passing the motion 7–0. Member Washington moved the motion, which member Gorecki seconded.
Business Services Director Dave Blatchley presented the budget and explained the process, saying the presentation was "regarding how the budget was formulated with comparisons to neighboring districts." Member Przybyl raised several questions about the presentation and the budget during discussion. The board recorded the vote as AYE: Tidwell, Pavlinic, Dopke, Washington, Przybyl, Gorecki, and Dusterhoft; NAY: None; ABSTAIN: None.
Board members did not direct additional action at the meeting beyond adoption; the budget was adopted as presented and the board president declared the motion carried.
