District reports $2.1M in state matches and tentative $7M AB519 approval for Hawaii school project

"As of today, we've received $2,100,000 in revenue from the state match," Cassie Stolke said, and she described one reimbursement already submitted plus additional pending requests.
Stolke said the district applied for AB 5-19 funding for the Hawaii School project and received approval on June 17 for an additional $7,000,000, though she noted the official notification and grant award had not yet arrived. She added that the Shoshone-Paiute tribe provided documentation of match, much of it as in-kind labor and receipts that will be used in the district's matching calculations.
