Troy council approves emergency resolution to pursue EDA disaster supplemental grant for Experiment Farm Road

On Aug. 3, Troy City Council adopted Resolution R39-2026 to authorize the director of public service and safety to file an FY2025 Economic Development Administration disaster supplemental grant application for utility improvements related to the Troy Industrial Park North and Experiment Farm Road.
Clerk Mrs. Knight read the resolution: "Resolution authorizing the director of public service and safety of the city of Troy, Ohio to file a grant application with the US economic development Administration, EDA, under the FY 2025 disaster supplemental grant program for funding to support utility improvements on Experiment Farm Road and declaring an emergency." Council moved to suspend the rules and adopted the resolution by roll call.
Committee members had recommended the emergency measure so an application could be submitted promptly during the open cycle. Council members recorded yes votes on the roll call and the resolution was adopted at the meeting.
