Vitality Unlimited wins rural health grants to expand mobile mental-health services in Elko County

A Vitality Unlimited representative said the organization’s mobile mental-health and substance-use services have been well received across rural communities, with particularly strong client growth in Eureka and Crescent Valley. The presenter said Vitality received two awards from the rural health transformation program: one to expand mobile services and infrastructure, and another to support recruitment of psychiatric and behavioral-health professionals serving Elko County and nearby Lyon County.
"We're gaining clients almost every single day and every single visit that we make," the presenter said. The board congratulated Vitality and asked to be kept updated on deployment and staffing plans.
