Elko County health officer outlines rural health grant awards and urges transparency

"We can see who's been funded, but we don't see the proposals," the officer said, and asked volunteers to help share award details with the county and community.
Board members responded that follow-up outreach is planned before the October meeting so stakeholders can learn how awardees will use funds.
