The proclamation, read during the meeting, highlighted partnerships among the National Association of Town Watch, the Elko County Sheriff’s Office, Elko County Juvenile Probation and the Elko Police Department and described event activities planned at Elko City Park from 5 to 8 p.m.
Travis moved to approve the proclamation and the board approved it by voice vote. County staff arranged for a photo of those receiving the proclamation.
