Separately, the county manager presented budget amendment No. 3 for fiscal year 2026–27 requesting a $68,000 transfer from capital reserve to cover Parks & Recreation capital items: a new Kubota lawn mower (state contract pricing) and parking lot improvements tied to a previously awarded lighting grant. The board approved the budget amendment by a 4-0 vote; manager said the amendment involves existing capital reserve and requires no additional appropriation.
