Commission ratifies hire of full-time court security officer

Elbon described the position as benefited and subject to a 90-day probationary period; starting pay was stated as $14.36 per hour, moving to $15.12 per hour after successful completion of probation. Commissioner Chris Siler moved to ratify the hire; the motion passed unanimously.
The Commission recorded the ratification as part of personnel actions at the meeting and did not attach additional conditions to the approval.
