BLM: Sheep Creek and Cornucopia fires burned roughly 3,400 and 3,000 acres; fall treatments planned

Buentes outlined follow-up restoration measures: fall weed treatments such as mazapic, aerial seeding next fall focusing on native grasses and shrubs, and erosion-control work in drainages. She said restoration will be coordinated with partners including Ndau and Nevada Gold Mines.
