At the January 8 meeting the board considered and authorized payment of routine invoices brought forward by the Treasurer. The resolution text included two invoice items: (i) $1,000 for New York State Economic Development Council membership renewal dues and (ii) $3,563.50 to Harris Beach Murtha Cullina PLLC for December 2025 legal services and disbursements. The resolution language states the Treasurer reviewed and recommended payment of the invoices, and the resolution directed the Treasurer to immediately pay the invoices.
The minutes also record that at the prior (December 11, 2025) meeting Resolution 12/2025-1, authorizing payment of invoices, was moved by Darren M. Morton, seconded by Stephanie Vanderpool, and unanimously adopted. The January resolution references the agency’s enabling statute in its recital language (Title I of Article 18-A of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York) in describing the authority to approve such payments.
