Town Manager Judie Milner told the Select Board the RFP for a pay and classification study was awarded to McGrath Human Resources Group, and that job descriptions are under review by employees and department heads. Milner said the study’s "expected duration is 16 weeks," which would position results for use in the 2027 budget process.
On economic development work, Milner said the selection team narrowed candidates to two finalists who will visit Meredith for in-person review and community tours before the board makes a final decision. The manager also noted other administrative items in her report, including department head personnel workshops and a pending property closing at 126 Meredith Center Road that will bring nearly $12,000 to the town to cover legal fees to date.
