Deputy Dave Yarnell delivered the Sheriff’s report to the City of Pateros council on Jan. 20, stating that a new contract with the city needs to be negotiated. Yarnell also described a reported trespass on city property and said the office will not treat the report as a blanket trespass order but will address incidents on a case-by-case basis.
Administrator Jord Wilson asked for an update on vandalism to a charging station; Deputy Yarnell said he did not have details at the meeting and committed to following up with the city. The minutes record these items as the principal points from the Sheriff’s report.
