Mayor Kelly Hook signed an emergency declaration after the City Hall roof sustained damage, city staff told the council at its April 20 meeting. City Administrator Jord Wilson submitted the administrator's report and discussed the declaration and several related infrastructure items.
Wilson told the council that the packet included the Mayor's monthly report and plans related to stormwater management, an emergency sewer and water system plan, and a manganese treatment plan. Councilmember Chantel Poole also noted upcoming community preparedness activities, including an Arbor Day event and a school practice evacuation. The council did not take a separate vote on the emergency declaration during the meeting; the report indicated the declaration had been executed and was on file in the packet.
