The City of Pateros council voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 2026-1, authorizing a professional-services agreement with Ogden Murphy Wallace P.L.L.C. for legal services. Councilmember Frank Herbert moved the resolution, Mike Harding seconded, and the motion carried without recorded opposition.
Mayor Kelly Hook and City Administrator Jord Wilson explained the decision followed the retirement letter from the city’s long-serving attorney, Scott Detro, and an interview process involving two law firms. The council authorized the agreement to ensure continuity of legal representation for city matters.
