Daggett County adds Water Conservation Plan to General Plan to comply with SB 110

On April 7 the Daggett County Commission adopted Ordinance 26-06 to incorporate a Water Conservation Plan into the county's General Plan. Commissioner Jack Lytle moved to adopt the ordinance; Commissioner Randy Asay seconded and the motion carried.
The ordinance was presented as required to meet state-level requirements under SB 110 (2022) and Utah Code §17-27a-401. County staff member Carrie Poulsen was acknowledged for preparing the plan. The adoption means the county has formally added a water conservation chapter to its planning document as described in state statute.
