The Centerville-Abington Com Schs board voted to adopt a revised evaluation tool for district administrators after staff described collaborative work with teachers and administrators to update outdated items.
S4, who presented the update, said the tool incorporates current practices—pointing to professional learning communities (PLCs) and other areas where the district wanted measurable growth. "Some of that was outdated, and we wanted to bring it around to a lot of things that we're doing now," S4 said. After board discussion, a motion to approve the tool passed by voice vote, recorded as 5-0.
