Commissioner DeLong presented Resolution 072125052 to declare surplus property for the sheriff's department. After a voice vote the chair announced it had passed with 19 yeses. During the presentation Commissioner DeLong described the resolution and praised the sheriff's office: "This resolution to, declares with surplus property for the sheriff's department, which by the way, is the best sheriff's department state in Tennessee," the presenter said.
The commission also approved additional resolutions, including one described as governing construction work in Robertson County and other surplus-property declarations. Each motion was put to a voice vote with the chair announcing 19 yeses for the items called. The measures were presented as administrative actions to manage county property and to set oversight for in-county construction work.
