Board approves multiple Thrun policy updates covering public participation, Title IX, employee and student policies

The board approved multiple sets of Thrun policy updates presented by administration. Michelle Craig moved to approve an initial bundle of policies (2504, 3110, 3115, 3115A, 3118, 3121, 3402, 3407, 3408); Glenn Fox seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Later, trustees approved additional bundles addressing employee policies (4101, 4103, 4105B, 4106, 4221, 4403, 4407, 4408, 4409) and student-related policies (5104, 5202, 5209, 5411, 5420, 5421, 5603, 5701, 5707, 5712).
The approved updates cover a range of governance and compliance topics, from public participation rules to data-breach response, Title IX sexual harassment definitions and response, whistleblower protection, FMLA, student promotion and concussion awareness. The approvals were recorded as motions and passed by roll call (Yea: 6, Nay: 0, Absent: 1).
