The Pioneer School District No. 402 Board of Directors on Feb. 24 approved its meeting agenda and consent items and advanced a large package of district policies through unanimous votes on second and first readings.
Vice President Rebecca Bechtolt called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the board took a series of procedural votes including unanimous approval of the agenda and consent agenda. Board members then considered a long list of policies; motions and seconds are recorded in the minutes and most readings passed unanimously. For example, the board approved second readings for Policy 1105 (Electoral System) and Policy 1111 (Oath of Office) and moved forward first readings on Policy 2004 (Performance Improvement Goals) and Policy 2022 (Electronic Resources & Internet Safety).
