The Randolph Parks and Recreation Master Plan Steering Committee has unanimously recommended the draft master plan for approval, Mayor Mark Forst said, and the draft will be presented to the Township Council on Aug. 20.
Forst said the recommendation is a milestone after "many months of hard work from residents, staff and our planning partners." He described the document as a long-term vision for parks and recreation programs in the township.
The mayor said he looks forward to sharing more as the plan moves toward the council presentation. The committee’s recommendation is a formal endorsement to bring the draft before the Township Council; council consideration and any formal adoption will occur at that upcoming meeting.
