Board to approve committee assignment and amended bus agreement at Oct. 23 meeting
Summary
Following Trustee Busch's resignation, the Board recommended Trustee Barry Kreiner as a Building and Site committee member and Rec Board representative; the Superintendent also shared an amended Marysville School Bus agreement to begin 2025-26; both items will be on the Oct. 23 agenda for approval.
Superintendent Tracie Eschenburg told the Board that Trustee Busch's resignation left committee assignments to be filled and that the attached list showed vacancies. Following Board discussion, it was recommended that Trustee Barry Kreiner serve as the second member of the Building and Site committee and take a seat on the Rec Board; approval of those assignments will be requested at the Oct. 23 Regular meeting.
Eschenburg also shared an amended contractual agreement between Marysville School Bus and the District to begin in the 2025-26 academic year and said the Board will be asked to approve the amended agreement at the Oct. 23 meeting. No formal votes were taken Oct. 15; both items were presented for placement on the upcoming agenda.
