Mayor Josh Ewing told the council a State of Utah representative indicated acceptance of the town's proposed Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) map that expands coverage to include certain Level 4 residential and commercial zones. Ewing said he will complete and return the paperwork this week so Bluff can be officially approved and come into compliance with state requirements.
Council discussed next steps for Building Department implementation once the map is formally accepted. The minutes note the map includes the proposed additions beyond all Level 5 to include Residential and Commercially zoned Level 4; staff will follow the state's instructions for paperwork and implementation.
