Superintendent Adam Bowen told the board that "All staff reported back today," and summarized the day’s activities: a district breakfast, an On Target Healthy Living presentation by Matt Johnson, a districtwide safety seminar and building/department staff meetings. He said professional development will continue this week focusing on curriculum, assessment and trauma-informed training.
Bowen announced Back-to-School Night schedules (elementary 6 p.m., middle school 7 p.m., high school 7:30 p.m.), that Sept. 2 will be a half day and Sept. 3 the first full day (with BASE beginning), and a groundbreaking for baseball/softball field renovations is scheduled for Sept. 3 at 10 a.m.
