The Lucas City Council approved the consent agenda unanimously. Items included approval of meeting minutes for Aug. 21 and Aug. 25, 2025, and authorization for the mayor to negotiate and enter into a one‑year interlocal agreement with Collin County for animal control services covering Oct. 1, 2025, through Sept. 30, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $19,030.
Council asked if any items should be pulled but, with no requests, the chair entertained a motion to approve the consent agenda; the motion was seconded and carried with all members voting aye.
