County parks director highlights community value of renovated Carroll and Crickton field

Walker emphasized the field's community role, describing how "In the evenings, you could always ride by and see a mom or a dad out pitching or or working on some fielding with their child." He said the renovated space aims to serve both youth players who first learn the game there and adult players who use the complex for weekend games. Details on maintenance plans, scheduling, and funding were not provided during the ceremony.
