Macon-Bibb County commissioners approved four new alcohol-beverage licenses and sent them to the consent agenda during Tuesday’s meeting. The items included licenses for Barrington Hall Golf Club (104 Stoney Creek Drive), B and T Food Fresh (1425 Rocky Creek Road), Capricorn Studio (6530 Martin Luther King Drive) and Lizella 786 (3309 Holly Road).
Presiding Mayor Miller said each applicant met the statutory requirements, including a certificate of good standing, and motions to approve were made and seconded for each license. “All those in favor of the motion, please say aye,” the mayor said before recording unanimous voice votes sending the items to the consent agenda.
The approvals were routine and part of a broader consent package the commission moved through without extended discussion. Commissioners noted staff would monitor any license locations with prior compliance concerns, particularly the store at 3309 Holly Road, which has changed owners in the past.
