Angela Davis, Supervisor of Nutrition Services, presented a recommendation to purchase a new serving line for Hillside Elementary including hot/cold stations and a cashier station. Staff identified Stafford Smith, Inc. (via an Oakland Schools consortium) as the vendor and listed a total cost of $75,630.00, to be funded from the Nutrition Services Fund with delivery planned for Fall 2025.
Davis said this purchase represents the final phase of a 12-year district-wide serving line modernization plan. The Board was informed of the funding source and timeline but did not take a separate recorded vote on the item at this meeting.
