Saginaw Township Board adopts agenda, minutes and MHSAA membership in unanimous votes

The Saginaw Township Board of Education opened its special meeting June 9 at 7:58 p.m. and, by unanimous roll call votes, adopted the meeting agenda and approved minutes from May 19, 2025. The board also adopted a Membership Resolution for the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) following a motion by David Booth and a second by Marianne Bird; the motion was recorded as adopted by roll call vote.
The board convened two closed sessions to hear student-discipline matters: the first began at 8:08 p.m. with a return to open session at 8:20 p.m.; the second closed session began at 8:22 p.m. and the board returned to open session at 8:32 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 8:33 p.m. All recorded votes during the meeting were unanimous among the four members present (Janice Collison, Marianne Bird, David Booth and Michele DeShone).
