The Saginaw Township Board of Education voted unanimously June 9 to permanently expel a student identified in the minutes as Student A after a closed-session hearing. The motion, offered by Board member David Booth and seconded by Michele DeShone, cited a Level IV violation of the White Pine Middle School Student Code of Conduct for insubordination and was adopted by roll call vote.
