District reviews bond-project progress, contingency plans amid bridge closure

Committee members were told that the Wayne County bridge closure has affected logistics; "material for the Grosse Ile Elementary drive (loop) is being stockpiled early in order to remain on project in the spring," the minutes state. The record notes a conduit break near the football field and that a meeting with the electrical contractor was held to address the problem. A planning meeting for May 12–16 was scheduled to discuss the high-school roof project and middle-school parking-lot paving.
