Local arborist Maxwell Bordenier introduces himself as candidate for Poulsbo Tree Board

Maxwell Bordenier introduced himself to the Poulsbo Tree Board and said he has applied for a board seat. He described several years of arborist work, municipal experience with a previous member, and current enrollment in an urban-forestry master’s program.
"My name is Maxwell Bordenier. I live here… Technically, I live at the end of Pew, so I'm not in the city limits. But, I have been interested in the tree board. I am an arborist of about 7 years," Bordenier said when he introduced himself to the board. Staff confirmed they have received his application and will forward it to the mayor for consideration.
Board members welcomed his interest and discussed opportunities for new volunteers to assist with programming, classes and outreach in 2025.
